INFO
For this 2023 brochure redesign project, I chose the Mackinaw Trail Winery & Brewery, located in Northern Michigan in the Petoskey area. The targeted audience is adults of legal drinking age who enjoy visiting where the wine is made and receiving expert advice on the complexities of wine and beer that Mackinaw Trail is known for. Therefore, the brochure emphasizes their award-winning selections and conveys a sophisticated and upscale experience to entice visitors to come back year after year.
Key information in the new brochure is their winery, brewery, bistro, and wedding/event venues available. This includes all the Winery has to offer in a quick and easy-to-read brochure that is aesthetically pleasing to look at- And now rivals the looks of competing local wineries. The brochure also includes their location, contact information, hours, social media info, and a QR code for easy access to their website.
This is what the old brochure looked like with comments of design issues that I wanted to address for the project. These include: distracting illustrations, harsh color palette, and overuse of elaborate flourishes.
The company's logo was included into their brochure because it is part of their Brand Identity. The logo incorporates a stretched and modified version of the LHF Esoteric 3 Regular font paired with a script front that looks like Corinthia ROB Medium font.
This is the finished trifold brochure using Adobe InDesign. The brochure incorporates the logo and signature colors along with the green rolling hills and grape vines that surround the winery grounds. Pictures were featured on their website, and the logo was modernized.
This is a 3D mockup of what the brochure would look like printed out.
